IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT
YOUR SMOKE ALARM
Before installing your smoke alarm, you must read this entire
Owner’s Manual.
This alarm incorporates the internationally recognized horn signal for
evacuation. During alarm mode, the horn produces three short beeps
followed by a 2 second pause and then repeats. This pattern is
somewhat different than the previous alarm sound, which continually
beeped.
Install a smoke alarm in each room and area of your home. See
“WHERE YOU SHOULD INSTALL YOUR SMOKE ALARMS.”
